Colors X Factors Vs Gama Strikers
Riding on Skipper Hitesh Dalmiya’s match winning 62 not out off 39 balls Gama Strikers recorded second win of the tournament over Colors X Factors in the first match of the day.
Hitesh blasted 10 fours and one six in his innings that helped Gama chase a target of 105 runs in 10.5 overs. Gama lost four wickets in the process. Ankit Chachan took two wickets for Colors.
Earlier, Colors were unable to post a strong total on the board, batting first. Vivek Podar top scored for Colors with 34 runs while Ankush Agrawal scored 9 runs.
Intex lions Vs Tip Top XI
Tip Top XI, meanwhile, recorded first win of the tournament over Intex Lions in the second match of the day in a match played at TU Ground, Kritipur.
Ashu Kandoi’s excellent bowling figures of 4-0-10-3 helped Tip Top XI restrict Intex Lions for 113/7 in 20 overs. Only two batsman, Akshay Kothari 26 runs and Saurav Lunawat 28 scored more than 20 runs for Intex. Bikash Sharma also took two wickets for Tip Top.
Ashu Kandoi and Yogesh Sawarthiya shared a 98 runs partnership for the second wicket as Tip Top chased the target in 13.5 overs losing two wickets only. Ashu remained not out on 52 runs while
Yogesh Sawarthiya got out on 56 runs.
