HCA crowned inter-club cricket champions

Kathmandu- Himalayan Cricket Club( HCA), Dhangahdi, has been crowned as the champions of Pran Litchi Drinks 1st National Inter-Club Youth Cricket Championship 2072. HCA defeated Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) by 40 runs in the final played at Tribhuwan University Ground, Kritipur on Wednesday.

HCA made 140 for 7 in 20 overs after being invited to bat first. Bhupendra Thapa top scored for the winning team with 30 runs from 35 balls. Amar Singh Rautela and Dinesh Aagri also chipped in with 21 and 24 runs respectively.

Sagar Pun and Jitendra Mukhiya grabbed two wickets each for TAC.

Chasing a modest total, TAC were bundled out for 100 runs in 17.3 overs. Lalit Bhandari bowled brilliantly picking up 3 wickets conceding just 10 runs in 3.4 overs for the winning team. Naresh Budhayer top scored for TAC with 23 runs.
