Surya Kumar Yadav, Indian Cricket team’s prolific batsman topped the 2022 T20I run chart, overtaking Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee after the conclusion of the India-Australia T20I series on Sunday.
Airee, who led the table with 626 runs from 18 matches this calendar year slips one position down to two. Surya Kumar trumped him after making 69 runs in the decider third T20I match against Australia. His total of 682 runs in 20 matches, includes a century against England.

Meanwhile, Dipendra hit 626 runs with a strike rate of 136.68 whilst Surya Kumar scores at an outstanding 182.82 per 100 balls.
Similarly, Airee managed an unbeaten 110 runs against Malaysia at home on April 2nd, which remains his highest score this year while Yadav hit 117 against England in England on July 10. In fact, both the batters have hit their highest scores in T20I this year. Meanwhile, both of them have registered four half-centuries this year.
In the top 10 list, Czech Rupublic’s Sabawoon Davizi is at the third position with 612 runs from 15 matches followed by Pakistan’s opening Wicket-keeper batsman, Mohammad Rizwan. He has managed 556 runs in just 11 matches with a high score of 88 not out.
Dipendra Singh Airee is the only batsman from Nepal in the Top 50 run-scorers in T20 Internationals this year.
