KATHMANDU: Karnali Yaks have retained seven players, including marquee player Sompal Kami, for the upcoming Nepal Premier League season.

Sompal will continue as Karnali's marquee player. The Yaks have also retained Gulshan Jha, Nandan Yadav, Deepak Dumre, Pawan Sarraf, Unish Singh and Yuvraj Khatri.
The retained group gives Karnali a strong domestic core ahead of the new season. Sompal and Gulshan bring national-team experience, while Nandan and Pawan add further senior depth.
Deepak, Unish and Yuvraj give the squad young options as Karnali prepare for the next stage of team-building.
Meanwhile, Yaks has released Arjun Gharti, Dipendra Rawat, Bipin Sharma and Imran Sheikh from the pool.
Karnali are expected to complete the rest of their squad through the upcoming NPL auction.
