Kathmandu – Nepali youngster Kushal Bhurtel was adjudged the best player of the tri-nation T20 cricket series. He scored a total of 278 runs in five games, including four fifties, and was named Player of the Series.

Bhurtel, who was named Player of the Series, received the Pulsar Motorcycle Award. He scored 62 in the first game against the Netherlands, 61* in the game against Malaysia, 62 in the third game against the Netherlands, and 77 in the final game against the Netherlands.
Bhurtel also became the first Nepali player to hit four fifties in the same series. He has also set a record of three consecutive fifties in his debut match in T20 cricket.

Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane has become the highest wicket-taker in the series. He took 13 wickets in five games of the series. Lamichhane, who became the first Nepali player to play 100 matches in T20 cricket, has taken 138 wickets in 101 matches.
