Legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane’s first outing in Global T20 Canada didn’t go well as his side Montreal Tigers lost to CWI B side by two wickets.

Lamichhane bowled his four-over quota giving away 57 runs in the second inning of the match. But he was able to get tailender Jeremiah Louis’s wicket in his last over.

Earlier, Montreal Tigers scored 183 for 9 after winning the toss. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza (47) was the top scorer for tigers. Lamichhane managed a single run, facing single delivery and remained not out.

Cricket West Indies B team successfully chased the target in 19.2 overs. Nicholas Pooran (58) and Brandon King (56) were the top scorer for them.

Montreal will now play their next match against Vancouver Knights on July 2.
