Aakash Chand makes his ODI debut for Nepal

Aakash Chand has been handed his ODI cap to debut for Nepal in the second match of the bilateral series against Canada in Kirtipur on Saturday.

Aakash has been handed his ODI cap number 40 for Nepal.

The 19-year-old was sensational in the recently concluded ICC U19 World Cup in South Africa. Notably, he took a fifer against Afghanistan Under-19s.

In the previous match, Surya Tamang and Rijan Dhakal received a debut cap. They received cap no. 38 and 39 respectively.

Nepal will be chasing in the second ODI match against Canada after the opposition elected to bat first. Three changes have been made in the second match.

Kushal Bhurterl, Aarif Sheikh, and Lalit Rajbanshi are rested and are replaced by Anil Sah, Dev Khanal and Aakash Chand.
