Ankit Subedi and Siddhant Lohani shine as Province 1 beat Bagmati Province

Province number 1 thrashed Bagmati province on Tuesday to register their first victory in the ongoing Prime Minister National One Day Tournament. Ankit Subedi and skipper Sidhhant Lohani were the stars in 69 runs triumph.

Opting to bat first at TU Cricket Ground, Ankit’s ton and Siddhant’s fiery knock helped Province 1 post a mammoth score of 304. Ankit continuing his good run scored 110 runs from 134 balls. He hammered 12 fours and one maximum. Siddhant, on the other hand, smacked eight sixes and three fours in his 40-balls 72.  Ramnaresh Giri bagged a fifer for Bagmati, conceding 42 runs.

Bagmati, in reply, were wrapped up for 235 in 45.5 overs. Nandan Yadav was the top scorer with 42 runs. Ishan Pandey and Ramnaresh Giri contributed 35 and 28 runs, respectively. Sarwan Yadav grabbed three wickets for Province 1, whereas Firdosh Ansari, Dipak Joshi, and Siddhant Lohani pocketed two wickets each.

Province 1 and Bagmati Province were both thrashed by Nepal Police Club in their last match.
