Cricnepal/Kathmandu – Cricket Association of the Blind(CAB), Nepal has been shortlisted as one of the best four Association in the world by Beyond Sports Organisation.
CAB Nepal has been shortlisted out of 400 organisations from 125 countries. The award has been kept under Social inclusion award Category for the inclusion of Blind Women in Cricket.
A Ganar – World Wide, An Indian Organization named Yuma and “Soccer without border” of U.S.A have stood as competitors of Blind Cricket, Nepal in social inclusion sports award category.
The award ceremony is set to be held at Philadelphia in U.S.A from 9th to 11th September, 2013. Mr. Pawan Ghimire, the Chairman of the Association will be representing on behalf of the Organization.
The winners of all seven categories will be declared on 11th September which is also the closing day of the three days long award ceremony.
The winner of each category will get funding support, an access to Beyond Sport’s global network of international sports organizations, company leaders, and influential political figures, Opportunities for business mentoring and to become members of the most influential group of social entrepreneurs ever assembled around sport.
