Region No. 3 Kathmandu announced their U19 Team today choosing Bibhatsu Thapa as the captain. Thapa represented Nepal U19 team in the ACC Elite U19 Cup held 5 months back. Pawan Shrestha has been named his deputy.
The team includes National Team probable Sompal Kami who starred in the district selection with two back to back centuries. Arjun Adhikari, Sompal’s close pal known for his excellent wicket keeping skills is also in the 14 man squad.
The team will be coached by Samsung Jung Thapa and Rajaram Thandukar has been named their manager.
The National U19 Tournament will start this Friday. Birgunj are the defending champions.
