CAN amends central contract

Kathmandu- The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has made changes in the central contracts of Nepali players. Nine months ago, the CAN had awarded contracts grading A, B, C and D to 22 national players.

Sompal Kami, who was in grade B has been moved into grade A following his impressive contribution to the national team while Amrit Bhattarai and Rahul BK has been excluded from the list.

Similarly Prithu Baskota, Mahesh Chettri, Abinash Karn and helicopter boy Siddhant Lohani has earned their name into the contract list after making a comeback into the team in the ICC WCL Championship.

Grade A- Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Sompal Kami, Shakti Gauchan and Basant Regmi.

Garde B- Subash Khakurel, Sagar Pun, Karan KC, Binod Bhandari, Pradeep Airee and Anil Mandal.

Grade C- Jeetendra Mukhiya, Mahesh Chettri, Avinash Karn, Prithu Baskota, Rajesh Pulami.

Grade D- Raju Rijal, Ram Naresh Giri, Mehaboob Alam, Aarif Sheikh, Naresh Budhayer, Siddhant Lohani and Bhuwan Karki.

Grade A, Grade B, Grade C and Grade D players gets RS 35,00, RS 25,000, RS 10,000 and RS 5,000 respectively.
