Nepali Cricket team which is leaving for UAE on Sunday will depart only after felicitation at Hotel Annapurna by various corporate houses informed CAN via press release.
“Special package for Cricketers will be declared during the program”, read the CAN issued press release.
CAN had also announced that it would be organizing farewell program for Cricketers on Saturday. CAN’s sponsors Pepsi and Standard Chartered Bank are to felicitate the Cricketers with Rs. 40000 cash for each player.
The press release doesn’t mention what the “packages” would be. “Its very likely it would be one of those conditioned awards for Cricketers to encourage them to perform during the tournament-like cash award for players who score more than 70 runs” told CAN related source to Cricnepal.com
