Nepal’s Opener for U19 Cricket team at Ireland, Subash Khakurel speaks after the warmup match against Namibia. Here is a brief interview taken by Birat Rayamajhi:
Q. How was the playing condition?
– Condition is really different here in Ireland. The pitch is totally confusing. We can trust the bounce but the pitch which we played our warm ups was full with long grass not an International Standard. May be we will get different pitches as the tournament progresses.
Q. What was the main reason behind our lost?
– Although, The target was chaseable, our boys just threw their wicket in regular interval. We could have won the match easily.
Q. How was the team of Namibia?
– They are an average team, not good as our team. We have ability to beat them in another match.
Q. How is the team preparation for match against Afghanistan ?
– Personally, I am really confused with the condition its really difficult. Hope we can adjust as fast as possible. Boys are training hard on the camps for the match against them. Its a big Match.
