Cricket documentaries at Charity Show

Kathmandu, July 19 – The two cricket documentaries: “Beyond the boundary” and “a New horizon” are being showcased as a fund raiser to the deaf cricket at the Auditorium hall of Nepal Tourism Board, Bhrikutimandap on 23rd of July.

“The documentary show will be followed by the performances from the Guinness Record holders Thaneswor Guragain, Nikesh Thapaliya and Chari dada- Gautam Sapkota”, said Swurya Thapaliya, the organizer, at the Press Conference organized at Sports Journalist Office today.

Beyond the boundary is a tale of comeback of National cricketers Sharad Vesawkar and Rahul BK, who reached the personal milestones during the ICC Div 5, 2010 that was held in Kathmandu which Nepal eventually won. A new horizon is a story of Nepali Women cricketers that throws light on two sides of any sports- winning and losing.

The performer Thaneswor Guragain holds the record for spinning a book on finger for the maximum time and also holds the record for bouncing basketball for maximum time in a minute. Nikesh Thapaliya has set the record for memorizing all the capitals of the world and also all the states of America. While Chari Dada has the most amazing capability of mimicking the voices of more than 200 birds.
