Dhangadi Cricket Acedemy(DCA) and Sudur Paschimanchal Cricket Acedemy(SPA) handed over cricket kits to Indreni Cricket Club,a local club based on Hasulia ward of Sadakpur VDC. Director of SPA Cricket Acedemy Subash Sahi handed the cricket materials to the captain of Indreni club,Surendra Bohora.
Clarifying the objective of the initiative Sahi explained that they were aiming to take Cricket to villages of the region, attract youth towards the sport and promote it through gin the region, during the distribution program held at DCA. He elaborated that due to lack of proper cricket gears, young Cricketers were not able to continue their practice and the kits would help them continue the sport.
They had provided Hasulia school a local school with cricket kits last year.
Dhangadi Cricket Acedemy also run school cricket program under affiliation of National Cricket Acedemy. DCA has built a strong reputation in a short period of six months. SPA Cricket Acedemy on the hand is popular for is annual SPA Cup, the Cricket Tournament offering the biggest cash prize in Cricket in Nepal.
