DDCA approves three more matches

Kathmandu – Delhi District Cricket Association(DDCA) have agreed Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN)’s request of extending the tour today. With this agreement, three more practice matches has been added to Nepal’s Itinerary in Delhi although the two board agreed upon seven practice matches only.

Nepal will be playing 10 practice matches. Nepali team has already played their three matches against DDCA and as per the tour schedule. Team was set to return on November 1 but now they will play three more matches on October 28, November 3 and 5.

“Coach Pubudu Dassanayake and Manager Purna Lama requested DDCA Officials to add more matches in the tour. DDCA approved the request”, said Sanjeev Pandey, CAN official to Nagariknews.

The World Cup Qualifier starts from 15th November but the warm up matches are scheduled from 12th November. Nepal will take on UAE and USA in the two warm up matches as the final preparation for the World Cup Qualifier.
