Delhi Tour Likely To Prolong

Nepali Cricket Teams tour to Delhi as preparation for ICC World T20 Qualifier will likely prolonged. “We are talking with the concerned authorities to add 3 more practice matches to our previous schedule, so the tour will prolong by 4 to 5 days” said coach Pubudu Dassanayake about the tour.

High Performance Program(HPP) previous had scheduled 5 days fielding coaching with a Sri Lankan coach  for the team from 6-10th November. The prolongation of the tour replaces the fielding coaching.

Nepal was set to play seven matches in Delhi-3 matches against Delhi District Cricket Association’s Cricket Team in famous Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. As previously informed by Dassanayeke Nepal was to play 2 matches with Railway Cricket Team and 2 more with Gautam Ghambir’s Team.

Nepali Team will leave for India on 20th October(as determined by the High Performance Program Schedule). “Nepal will leave for UAE directly from India” reported Pabitra Raut from Annapurna Post.

The World Cup Qualifier starts from 15th November but the warm up matches are scheduled from 12th November. Nepal will take on UAE and USA in the two warm up matches as the final preparation for the World Cup Qualifier.
