Nepal’s cricket fans were left disheartened as Dipendra Singh Airee, a key figure in the Rhinos, faced an unfortunate setback ahead of the T20 World Cup Asian qualifiers.
During a practice session in preparation for the match against Singapore, Airee suffered a leg injury. Bibek Yadav was called in as his replacement for the match against Singapore.
Airee was taken to Medicity Hospital for immediate medical attention. Upon his return to the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, he was seen with a bandaged leg and crutches for support.
Airee is widely recognized for his exceptional skills in batting, bowling, and fielding, making him a versatile asset to the team.
After their impressive 8-wicket victory over Singapore in the opening match, Nepal is now gearing up to face Malaysia tomorrow at 1:30 PM.
