Nepal’s standout all-rounder, Dipendra Singh Airee, has been signed by Gulf Giants, a team in the International League T20 (ILT20), which serves as the official franchise league in the UAE under the administration of the Emirates Cricket Board.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced the signing of DS Airee by the Gulf Giants. Airee previously played in Canada’s Global T20 League. His side Montreal Tigers were the champions of the 2023 edition.
The Gulf Giants, led by England’s James Vince, boast a squad featuring notable players such as Shimron Hetmyer, Chris Lynn, Carlos Braithwaite, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Additionally, associate cricket stars like Gerhard Erasmus, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Aayan Khan are also in the team. Currently, Gulf Giants is in the third position of the table.
Gulf Giants only have two league games remaining including one today at 8:15 PM NST. Meanwhile, Nepal has a CWC League 2 Tri-Series starting on 15th February.
