Eight teams that will compete in the Quater Finals of the 1st Inter University T20 Cricket Tournament being held in Dhulikhel have been determined after the matches of group stages were completed yesterday. The tournament is jointly organised by Kathmandu University and University Sports Association of Nepal(USAN).

1. Kathmandu University Central Campus (KU) -Group A
2. Kathmandu University School Of Management (KUSOM)- Group B
3. Nepal Engineering College-A (NEC-A)- Group C
4. Janaki Medical College (JMC)- Group D
5. Himalayan White House International College (HWHIC)-Group E
6. Triton International College-Group F
7. Kantipur Engineering College (KEC)-Group G
8. *Nepalese Army Institute of Health Science (NAIHS)-Group B(Best Runner up based on NRR)
The tournament which was inaugurated in 16th Jestha saw its first Group stage match played in 19th Jestha. 21 Colleges competed in the group stages of the tournament, which saw 21 T20 cricket matches played. The teams were divided in 7 Groups of 3 each, and the leader from the each group would qualify.
Based on the performance of this tournament Nepalese University Cricket Team will be selected for the first South Asian Inter University Cricket Tournament to be organised by USAN next year(2071)
