Government of Nepal has accepted National Sports Council proposal to reward each members of the world cup winning team with 1 millions cash prize.
Youth and Sports Minister Ram Kumar Shrestha opined that World Cup Qualification was the biggest achievement of Nepalese sports and the government would honor the players with a million rupees each. He also announced that the players will receive more facilities.
Minister Shrestha also explained that the government is willing to take necessary steps to take Nepali Cricket to Nepal riding on the success of Nepali Team in ICC T20 Qualifier.
NSC member Secretary, Yubaraj Lama in an interaction session held at reporters club informed that NSC is working along with Cricket Association of Nepal to devise programs aimed at protecting this grand achievement. He also added that NSC will invest on Cricket focusing on the T20 World Cup.
