ICC announces high Performance Grant

Cricnepal/Kathmandu – International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a high performance grant of USD175,000 to Nepal for the preparation of ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers to be held in New Zealand in January 2014.

The high performance grant is distributed by ICC to its twelve associates and affiliates member nations. Nepal currently ranks 11th affiliate and associate nation after winning the World Cricket League Division 3 in Bermuda.

The top eight ranked nations receives USD350,000 while, 9-12th ranked nations receives USD175,000 as per the 2013 ICC Development Funding Policy.

ICC has been providing USD300,000, every year to Nepal while Asian Cricket Council(ACC) provides USD60,000 to CAN.
