India and Pakistan reveal a strong squad to compete in Emerging Teams Asia Cup

The ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup is scheduled to begin in one week. This tournament includes the ‘A’ teams of the five full members of the Asian Cricket Council, along with the top three teams from the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup – Nepal, UAE, and Oman. The competition will take place from July 14th to July 23rd, 2023, in Sri Lanka.

Afghanistan A, Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A and Oman are placed in Group A, whilst Group B consists of India A, Pakistan A, Nepal and UAE.

Nepal will play Pakistan A on the 14th of July. They will face India A on 19th July after facing UAE on July 17.

The semi-final stage of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup will feature the top two teams from each group. On July 21st, the first semi-final will be played between the team that finishes at the top of Group A and the second-placed team from Group B. Similarly, the second semi-final will take place on the same day between the group winner from Group B and the team that finishes second in Group A. The final match is scheduled to be held on July 23rd.

Nepal’s cricketing rival – UAE, is yet to announce the squad for the tournament. However, two cricketing giants – India and Pakistan have already revealed their A team for the Cup. Both squads consist of some really talented players who are already hyped in international cricket.
