Jora-Walton lead Janakpur Royals to their third victory

Janakpur Royals registered their third win in Nepal T20 League and moved to second position in the table. Sundeep Jora and Chadwick Walton’s sensational batting display helped them get better off Far West United by eight wickets.

Chasing a decent total of 170, Jora – Walton duo added 151 runs for the third wicket after the early departure of openers to complete the chase with ten balls spare. Jora top scored with 77 runs from 54 balls, smacking five sixes and three fours. Walton also hammered five sixes and a couple of fours and made 40-ball 69 runs. Karan Kc picked both wickets for Far West United.

Invited to bat first, Far West United posted 169 runs from the allotted 20 overs after Karan KC’s electrifying batting at the end. He banged unbeaten 46 runs from just 17 balls. Bhim Sharki made 36* whereas opener Dev Khanal contributed sluggish 22 runs.

Lalit Rajbanshi was brilliant again with the ball picking up two wickets. Speedsters Sompal Kami and Jitendra Mukhiya also pocketed one wicket each.
