KCC Reach Semis

Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Kantipur City College(KCC) won their second match of College Premiere League T20 2013 Nepal Qualifier defeating Laboratory College School by 19 runs in a closely fought battle and reached the semis of the qualifier. KCC had defeated Pulchowk Engineering College in the match played yesterday.

Rajesh Pulami scored a blistering unbeaten 66 of just 34 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes as KCC posted a competitive 150 runs in 20 overs losing four wickets. Shibu Budathoki made steady 22 of 21 balls and Riwaz Shrestha made 20 of 34 balls. In the chase Lab College were folded for 131 runs in the pen ultimate ball of the second innings. Nagendra Upadhayay and Md.Riyaz Alam ran through Lab College sharing 7 wickets in between. Nagendra was adjudged the player of the match for his match winning performance with the ball taking 4 vital wickets in his four overs and giving away only 23 runs.
