KIST “Yellow” register first win

Host KIST “Yellow” registered their first win of the 2nd KIST Cup being held at Army School Cricket Ground, defeating Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences(KUSMS) by 15 runs. Riding on 33 ball 34 runs from skipper Prabesh Karki, KIST registered 121 runs in the 20 overs. In reply KUSMS were folded for 105 despite a fighting 53 ball 49 runs from opener Sagar Chand Thakuri

Aadesh Bishram Shah who  bagged 5 wickets with his left arm spin was awarded the player of the match.

In the other match played today Universal College of Medical Sciences continued their winning form defeating Kathmandu Medical College(KUSMS) by 100 runs. UCMS now have 4 points from 2 matches. Batting first Opener Subhankar Tiwari top scored with 45 from 36 balls for UCMS as they posted 167 runs in 20 overs. Raju Rauniyar contributed 31 runs from 20 balls. In reply KMC were bowled out for mere in 15.5 overs.

Raju Ryauniyar, who was later adjudged the player of the match starred with the ball for UCMS with 4 wickets from his 4 overs.
