Krishna Karki of Nepal & Canada’s captain Kevasan Juvarajan have both been found guilty of breaching Article 2.1.1, which relates to the ICC’s clothing and equipment regulations.
Four players have been reprimanded and warned after breaching the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel at the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Ireland.
The four players admitted to the Level 1 breaches and accepted the proposed sanctions so no hearings were required. All were reprimanded and warned by tournament referee David Jukes.
Norman Vanua of PNG breached Article 2.1.3 of the code, which relates to “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision” while USA captain Gregory Sewdial also received a reprimand from the referee for breaching Article 2.1.2 of the code, which deals with the “abuse of cricket equipment”.
