Ladli Lions clinches title

Ladli Lions won the title of Shree Ridhi Sidhi marwadi Champions League defeating Tip Top Eleven by 8 wickets here at T.U Ground, Kirtipur today.

Winning the toss, Tip Top Eleven opted to bat first. Tip Top Eleven could not put up the big total as Navin Jain(3 Wkts), Saurav Lunawat(2 Wkts) and Paras Luniya(2 Wkts) restricted them to a total of 100 runs in alloted 20 overs.

Manish Chaudhary(17) and Ganesh Sarawagi(22) put up a first wicket partnership of 39 runs. Ganesh innnings included 2 fours and a six. Rahul Goyal made 11 runs, the third player to make a double digit mark. All of the other batsman went cheaply. Rohit Sharma added 8 runs. Rahul Bansal and Ankur Agrawal made 7 runs each, Sunil Gaggar went at 5 runs, Amit Goenka added 3 runs. Aashish Chaudhary made a single while Mukesh Jain went for a duck out. 19 extras were conceded by Lions.

In reply, Lions chased the target easily in 13.2 overs at the loss of 2 wickets. Hitesh Dalmiya scored a brilliant knock of 42 runs from 26 balls including 8 fours. Amol Sharma added 14 runs. Manoj Sood remained not out at 24 runs off 12 balls that included a four and 2 sixes. Paras Luniya also remained not out at 11 runs off 8 balls that included a big six. Dinesh Agrawal from Tip Top Eleven grabbed the two wickets of the lions.

Navin Jain from Ladli Lions was adjudged as the man of the final match.

Manoj Sood from Ladli Lions was declared as the player of the series. Sandeep Bhatera from Ladli Lions was awarded as Best Batsman. Purnendu Ghosh from Dare Devils was adjudged as bewt bowler. Prince Agrawal from Dare Devils received the award for best wicket keeper. Player of the series, best batsman, best bowler, best wicket keeper and player of the final each received a trophy and gift hamper.

Fair Play Award was awarded to Ebisu Real Hitters and they received the cash prize of Rs. 10,000. Prashanna Shakya was awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1100 for most sixes in the tournament with 12 sixes from 4 matches.

The winners received cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and trophy. Runners up were awarded with Rs. 50,000 and trophy. The semi finalist S.G Challengers and Naxal Challengers were awarded with Rs. 5,100 each.
