Ladli Lions sets up final clash with Tip Top 11

KATHMANDU, January 6:

Ladli Lions entered the finals of the ongoing Shree Ridhi Sidhi Marwadi Champions League defeating Naxal Challengers by 19 runs here at TU Ground today.

Naxal Challengers won the toss and opted to field first. For Lions, Hitesh Dalmiya made 33 off 28 and Manij Sood top scored with 45 off 39 balls including 4 fours and a six to put up the total of 139 runs in loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Abhisek Bathwal scored 18 off 14 deliviries including 2 fours and a six. Gaurav Gaund remained not out at 12, while Umesh Kochar added 8 runs. Amol Sharma went cheaply at 4 while Navin Jain and Sumit Sharma went at 2 each. Two of the batsman went for duck.

Dilip Gupta, Dipesh Agrwal and Sushil Nahata grabbe two wickets each while Gaurav Jain grabbed a single for Naxal Challengers

In reply, Gaurav Chand, Manoj Sood grabbed two wickets each while Saurav Lunawat and Navin Jain shared a wicket each for Lions to restrict Challengers to a total of 120 runs in loss of 7 wickets. Mukesh Gupta top scored 35 runs being not out off 46 balls. Prashanna Shakya made 27 runs off 14 balls. Dilip Gupta scored 14 runs while Gaurav Jain contributed 11 runs. Suraj Shrestha made 8 runs whil three of the other batsman went cheaply at 2 runs each. Dipesh Agrawal went for duck.

The final match will be played tomorrow between Ladli Lions and Tip Top 11 at T.U Ground, Kirtipur.
