kathmandu- An amazing batting of 136 runs off just 87 balls from Sujan Thapaliya gave Lord Buddha Cricket Club a huge 256 runs win over Ultimate Indoor Cricket Club in the Kathmandu Cricket League 2015 at Tndikhel Ground on Thursday.
Batting first, Lord Buddha piled 344/9 in 45 overs, thanks largely to an amazing batting from Sujan Thapaliya who blasted 17 fours and 5 sixes in his innings of 136 runs that came from only 87 balls. He shared two hundred runs partnership, first of 110 runs with opener Biswas Adhikari 45 runs and another 132 runs partnership with Sanjeev Khanal 40 runs.
Skipper Arjun Pandey got 3 wickets while Sudeep Nepal got 2 for Ultimate. Ultimate managed 88/10 in 30.3 overs, in reply. Skipper Prasoon Thapa and Abhises Thapa bagged three wickets each for Lord Buddha.
344/9 scored by Lord Buddha is the biggest score in the Kathmandu Cricket League while 136 by Sujan Thapaliya is the highest individual score and the 2nd century in the competition.
