Lumbini Blind Cricket Team did their region proud once again as they defended their trophy against spirited first timers Nepal Army. Lumbini defeated Army by 6 runs in the final to win the fifth national blind cricket tournament
Batting first riding on a century by Ram Prasad Poudel(100) Lumbini made 259 runs in 40 overs. The first time participants in the national blind cricket-Nepal Army came were all out for 253.
Lumbini Ram Pradad Poudel who made 200 runs in the tournament and picked 7 wickets was adjudged the player of the tournament.
