Lumbini Crowned Champions

Not just the birth place the Lord Buddha is Lumbini but also place of fiercely motivated Blind Cricketers. Lumbini Blind Cricket Team did their region proud once again as they defended their trophy against spirited first timers Nepal Army. Lumbini defeated Army by 6  runs in the final to win the fifth national blind cricket tournament

Batting first riding on a century by Ram Prasad Poudel(100) Lumbini made 259 runs in 40 overs. The first time participants in the national blind cricket-Nepal Army came were all out for 253.

Lumbini Ram Pradad Poudel who made 200 runs in the tournament and picked 7 wickets was adjudged the player of the tournament.
