Malaysia to host Thailand, Maldives, and Bhutan in the Quadrangle series

Malaysia is all set to host the Quadrangle series including Thailand, Maldives, and Bhutan commencing on July second. The series is approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and all matches will be counted for the ICC T20 international ranking.

Each team will play twice against another team and the top two teams will face the final on the 13th of July. All matches will be played at UKM-YSD Cricket Oval, Bangi.

The Bhutanese Team is already in Malaysia for their first international tournament appearance after three years. After the ICC World T20 Asia Qualifiers in Malaysia in 2018, their senior national men’s cricket team has not participated in international competitions.

Malaysia Cricket Team currently is on a Singapore tour for three T20I matches and lost the first battle by 4 wickets on Tuesday. Maldives Cricket Team, on the other hand, is playing practice matches in Sri Lanka.
