Malaysia Women’s cricket team registered a historic five-wicket win over Nepal Women at the UKM-YSD Cricket Oval in Bangi, Malaysia on Monday.
It’s their first win against Nepal in four matches played so far. Chasing a modest total of 50 runs, Malaysia lost their half-side to reach the total in 13.2 overs.
Wan Julia and Ainna Hamizah Hashim managed 13 and 12 runs respectively in the chase while Aina Najwa contributed 8 runs in 16 balls.
Earlier, Nepal were bundled out for 50 runs in 16.5 overs.
