Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Manipal and B.P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) have registered wins in their respective matches of cricketing event of Synapse 2012, played yesterday at BIKIHS Cricket Ground.
In the first match Manipal degeated IOM by 11 runs. batting first Manipal posted 69 runs in 10 overs losing 7 wickets. Utsav bowled a brilliant spell of IOM giving just 5 runs in two overs and picked up 3 wickets. Chitra made 16 runs for Manipal.
In reply IOM could manage only 58 before gettin all out. Rahul made a steady 11 of 15 balls for IOM.
In the other match played yesterday BPKIHS(green) defeated KUSMS by 8 wickets. battin first KUSMS were restricted to a low score of 43 thanks to awesome bowling spell form Subhash ans Amit, both getting 2 wickets each, and gave runs at rate of less than 4 runs an over. BPKIHS riding on unbeatedn 20 of just 9 balls from Ravi got to the target in the fourth over, losing two wickets.Both of the wickets went to Baibhav in his first and only over of the match. Shubash contributed wih 17 of 9 balls for BP.
