Nobel Medical College and Manipal of College Medical Science played a
tie in a match that was reduced to 9 overs from 10, in Cricketing
event of Synapse being held at BPKIHS Cricket Ground, Dharan
In the 7th match of the tournament Nobel Medical College made 70 runs
in the 9 allocated overs losing four wickets. Bishal Yadav top scored
for Nobel with blazing 35 of 24 balls. Amitesh made an unbeated 23.
Adeep Shresthat picked up two wickets for Manipal.Sanyay Guring made
35 of 20 balls for Manipal in the chase , Chithria added 20 f 22
balls. Manipal eneded their inning exactly on 70 in their 9
oversSanjay Guring was declared the man of the match
in the other match played earlier in the day hosts BPKIHS’ red team
defeated KUSMS by 9 wickets. Batting first KUSMS couldn’t do much as
they stumbled for 44, none of the batsmen even getting to double
digits. Bikahs Mandal grabbed 3 wickets for BPKIHS Wasim Khan picked p
two and gave away only 2 runs in his two overs and was later adjudged
the player of the match.
In reply BPKIHS got to the target in the fifth ball of third over
losing only 1 wickets. Lalit Bohora made a fiery 22 of 12 balls
before getting out. Abinash Chaudhry guided the team to victory with
an unbeaten 12 runs.
