KATHMANDU, December 20:
First edition of Marwari Championship League T20 Cricket Tournament will be played from December 24 to January 7. The tournament will be played at Laboratory School and Modern Indian School Cricket Ground. In a press conference organized on Tuesday, Friends Cricket Club, the organizer informed that a total of 12 teams will participate in the tournament and the final match will be played at TU Cricket Ground.
Two groups each of 6 teams will be formed. The winner of the tournament will get a prize of Rs. 100,000 and the runner up will get Rs. 50,000. Player of the tournament, the best batsman, the best bowler, and the semi finalists will receive the special gift hampers, informed the organizers. Two non Marwari players will be allowed in the squad which will make the tournament interesting, said the organizers.
