NASA in semi final

Cricnepal/Dhangadi: NASA International College became the final team to enter the quarter final of the Hotel Devotee SPA Cup after a convincing victory of 6 wickets over Aishwarya Vidya Niketan, Dhangadi on Sunday.

Aishwarya won the toss and elected to bat first in the last quarter final match of the tourmanent. Aishwarya kept on losing wickets at regular intervals as they posted a low total of 112 runs losing eight of their wickets in 20 overs. Dinesh Adhikari scored 29 runs off 32 balls while Ruby Rokaya 19, Basu Giri 17, Dharam Khadka 14 and Dev Narayan Jha 12 were some other contributors.

Suresh Guragain claimed three wickets, Lal Adhikari took two while Rahul Singh and Praveen Joshi picked up each for NASA.

In reply, NASA chased the target in 18.2 overs losing four wickets.. Mukesh Singh top scored 40 runs and also shared a 43 runs partnership for second wicket. Rahul Singh 18, Avaye Poudel 15, Subash Pradhan 12, Mohammad Sajid 11 were some of the major scorers.

Basu Giri took two wickets while Ruby Rokaya and Amit Poudel took a wicket each for the losing side.

Suresh Guragain from NASA was adjudged the player of the match.

The semi final matches will be played on Monday. In the first semi final, Pentagon International College, Kathmandu will face host Sudur Paschimanchal Academy while in the second match, Mahendra Namuna Multiple College, Dadeldhura will face NASA International College.
