The National Sports Council (NSC) has announced the opening of a tender for the supply and installation of floodlights at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The project, which is funded by the government budget, aims to enhance the facilities of the cricket ground and enable it to host day-night matches.
According to the notice published on 7th April 2023, interested bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on 4th May 2023. The last date for bid submission is 22nd May 2023.
The installation of floodlights will provide a significant boost to the venue’s infrastructure and enable it to host matches at night, providing an exciting experience for cricket fans.
The National Sports Council has stated that the successful bidder will be responsible for the supply and installation of the floodlights, as well as any necessary maintenance and repair work. The council has also emphasized that the selection process will be transparent and fair, with bids evaluated based on several criteria, including technical specifications, price, and experience.
