NCA Gets its First Graduates

NCA concluded its  two projects : U12 cricket programme and the “Talent Hunt programme for the SLC appeared Students” amid a programme at Tribhuvan Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Saturday. 33 players were selected from U-12 scheme as ” NCA U-12 Talent Pool” by coaches Jagat Tamata, Binod Das ,Raju Basynat, Kalam Ali,  and Dipendra Chaudhary.
NCA which  was inaugurated six months back is an  initiative of  Coach Pubudu Dassanayake and former captain Binod Das, who guides the players as head coach of NCA. NCA started the U-12 programme in February. 500 very energetic lads participated in the programme out of which 33 best were picked for NCA U-12 Talent Pool. The selected ones will he introduced to more serious cricket and trainings.

The SLC talent hunt programme kicked off in 21st April. 58 players were trained by NCA coaches under this project, only 34 of them actually being SLC appeared.  These players  received full scholarships for their Higher Secondary studies by colleges-Golden Gate International College ,Himalayan White House and Xavier International College.

NCA revealed that the trainees of NCA Talent Hunt Program would form “NCA Youth Team” which shall compete in National Youth Level Tournaments with other regional team.
