Nepal’s squad for the ACC Premier Cup 2024 has been revealed. The regular captain Rohit Paudel will lead the rooster of 14 players.
The ACC Premier Cup T20 Tournament starts on April 12 in Oman and serves as the qualifying tournament for the Asia Cup 2025. Nepal will go into the tournament as the defending champions having won the previous edition, qualifying for the Asia Cup.
Aakash Chand will be the only member excluded from the squad that competed in the SMS Friendship Cup in Gujarat, India. Anil Sah, Bibek Yadav, Abinash Bohara, Pratish GC, and Sundeep Jora have all secured their positions in the team.
Nepal will play their first match against Malaysia on April 12. Subsequently, they are set to compete against Qatar, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia on April 13th, 15th, and 17th, respectively.
After a vital tournament, the Nepalese team will engage in a five-match T20 series against West Indies A as part of their T20 World Cup preparations.
