Nepal Blind lose to Australia

Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Nepal yet again lost a match in the ongoing T20 Blind Cricket World Cup. Nepal lost to Australia by nine wickets today at Central College Cricket Stadium.

Nepal winning the toss chosed to bat first and put up a total of 132 runs in 20 overs. They lost eight wickets during the play. Ram Prasad Paudel top scored for Nepal with 37 runs while Surya Prasad Bhattarai and Khimananda Gaire added 19 and 13 runs each. For Aussies, Peter Robinson grabbed four wickets while David Gauci, Daniel Searle took a wicket each.

In reply, Australia chased the target easily in 15.1 overs with nine wickets remaining. Matt McCarthy remained unbeaten at 56 runs, Michael Zannis was not out at 36 while Meberley Lorey was run out by Khimananda for 11 runs.

Peter Robinson of Australia was adjudged the player of the match for his four wickets.

Nepal will now play against England tomorrow.
