Nepal Blue wins Super League Tournament

Kathmandu- Prakash Bista’s blistering innings of 92 runs off just 68 balls saw Nepal Blue won the Super League Tournament defeating Nepal Green by nine wickets with 31.4 overs remaining at TU Ground, Kritipiur on Friday.

Nepal Bule chased 1 target of 152 runs in just 19.2 after opener Prakash thrashed them all over the park. Prakash with another opener Naresh Budhayer shared 136 runs for the first wicket before Naresh got out for 43 runs. Prakash, meanwhile, remained not out on 92 runs off 68 balls that included 14 four and three sixes. Karan KC took the only wicket for Green.

Earlier, Mehboob Alam picked up five wickets and Sompal Kami grabbed another three as the Blue team  folded the Green 151 for  10 in 47 overs. Nischal Pandey top scored for the Blue with 38 runs off 87 balls. Santosh Bhatta also score 27 runs.
