Nepal face India in U-19 Asia Cup opener

Kathmandu/Cricnepal: Asian Cricket Council(ACC) on Wednesday released the fixtures of the ACC U-19 ASia Cup to be held in Malaysia from June 23 to July 1.

According to the fixture, Nepal will face India in the first match on June 23 at Kinrara Oval before taking on host Malaysia on June 25 at Selangor Turf Club. Nepal will wrap up their group stage match playing against Pakistan on 26th June at Royal Selangor Club.

The matches will be of 50 overs per side, informed ACC. The match between Nepal and India will be televised live.

Nepal is placed in Group ‘A’ along with the two times U-19 world cup champions India and Pakistan. Malaysia is also in this group. Similarly, Group B includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Qatar and Sri Lanka. Top two teams from each group will progress to semi final.
