Nepal are set to face Ireland for the first in One Day International. They will be Nepal’s 10th opponent in ODI.
Nepal and Ireland will lock horns in the seventh-place match of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023. This will be the first time these two teams face each other in an ODI match.
Nepal defeated UAE in the seventh-place playoff match on Sunday to ensure a match against the Irish side. Dipendra Singh Airee’s heroic in the chase helped Nepal emerge victorious by three wickets at Takashinga Sports Club.

Nepal’s match against Ireland will be their third match against a Test-playing nation. Earlier, they played against Zimbabwe and West Indies in the World Cup Qualifier itself.
