Kathmandu- Nepal Red registered their second straight win over Nepal Blue while Nepal Grey recorded their first win of the tournament on the second day.

Bhuwan Karki’s second five wicket haul of the tournament gave Nepal Red their second straight win of the tournament over Nepal Blue.
Nepal Blue won the toss and invited Nepal Red to bat first. Riding on Paras Khadka’s 60 runs off 103 balls, Anil Mandal’s 52 runs and Pushpa Thapa’s 39 runs off just 23 balls, Nepal Red posted 211 for 6 in 50 overs. Sanjan Remgmi took five wickets for Nepal Blue and finished with figures off 5 for 55.
Players of the match Bhuwan Karki’s another five wicket haul restricted Nepal Blue for 171/10 in 39.2 overs and win the match by 37 runs. Apart from opener Bhupendra Thapa’s 51 runs, none other batsman contributed much for Nepal Blue.

Hasim Ansari’s cracking 91 runs off 107 balls and an all-round bowling effort saw Nepal Grey beat Nepal Green by huge 107 runs.
Nepal Green’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss proved wrong as Nepal Grey put on 204/9 in 50 overs and in reply, were bowled out for just 96 runs in 33.2 overs.
Anupam Singh top scored for the losing team with 28 runs. Irshad Ahmed picked up three wickets for Nepal Grey while Siddhant Lohani, Pradeep Airee and Moinuddin Khan grabbed two wickets each.
