Nepal registered it’s third consecutive victory on the day 3 of the ACC Womens Twenty20 Championship 2011. Nepal made it to the semi finals by defeating Kuwait by 47 runs. Kuwait won the toss and elected to field first. Nepal could manage 103 runs on loosing 4 wickets in the allocated 20 overs match. Kuwait who went to chase down the target of 104, could just manage 56 runs on loosing 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Sarita Magar made 22 runs and Rashmi Sharma made 20 runs to help Nepal make a good total of 103 runs. Karuna Bhandari made a good figure of 4-10 to restrict Kuwait under a very low score!
Karuna Bhandari was selected as the player of the match.
Nepal will play against Malaysia on 21st February at around 3.45 PM NST
