Kathmandu – Nepal has been promoted to 8th Position according to the new ranking for Associate and Affiliates countries ranking by International Cricket Council(ICC) on Sunday.
According to its new ranking, Nepal has jumped to 8th place from 14th in Group A in 2011. The Rankings is calculated upon the team’s performance in Senior, Junior & Women level. Similarly, it also counts the infrastructure development, human resource development (Umpire, Scorer, Coach, Staff and Grounds) and the finacial status earned without ICC’s support.
The ten countries that are listed on the GROUP A are:
1. Ireland
2. Papua New Guinea
3. Canada
4. Scotland
5. Netherlands
6. Kenya
7. UAE
8. Nepal
9. Namibia
10. Afghanistan
