Nepal national cricket team is set to play a T20 Tri-Series with Baroda and Gujrat. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) unveiled the schedule on Monday.
As per the source, Nepal will play a series against the full-strength side of Baroda and Gujrat who play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy – the domestic T20 cricket championship in India, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Krunal Pandya captained Baroda to a runner-up finish in the 2023 edition, where they were defeated by Punjab in the final. On the other hand, Gujarat, featuring players such as Piyush Chawla, Ripal Patel, and Ravi Bishnoi, suffered a loss to Uttar Pradesh in the Preliminary quarterfinals.
The series starts on March 31 with Nepal taking on Gujrat. All the matches will start at 1:00 PM and will be played in Vapi, India.
