Nepal to face Canada and USA in the T20 World Cup warm-up matches

Nepal’s opponent teams are confirmed in the T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches. The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the list of warm-up games on Thursday.

Nepal will face Canada and the USA in the official warm-up games of the tournament. Despite not getting the chance to play against a test nation, Nepal will play both matches at the same venue, which is also where they will play the first game during the main event. This provides a good opportunity for the team to adapt to the conditions.

Nepal will play Canada on May 27 and the USA on May 30 at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas. Their first tournament game against the Netherlands will also be held at this venue.

The Nepalese team is currently in St. Vincent for an invitational series against the Windward Volcanoes. They will play their final game on Saturday before heading to Houston, USA, where they will play a couple of practice games against the Houston Hurricanes.

The T20 World Cup 2024 starts on June 2 with the final match scheduled for June 29.
