The Nepalese national women’s Cricket team has gained the first point in the ongoing ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Nepal and India A were forced to share a point after the match was abandoned due to rain.
Thursday’s first match between Hong Kong and Pakistan was also abandoned due to the rain. Hence, Nepal now holds the opportunity to knock out either India A or Pakistan A by beating Hong Kong in the last match.
Both India and Pakistan A have three points and will face each other in the final match. Similarly, Hong Kong and Nepal have one point, with a match to play against each other.

India A win vs Pakistan A – If India A beats Pakistan A, then Nepal will have a better opportunity for a semi-final spot. Nepal needs to beat Hong Kong by a fair margin to achieve the milestone.
Pakistan A win vs India A – In this case, It will be very difficult for Nepal to book a top-four spot. India A thrashed Hong Kong A by a huge margin in the first match; hence Nepal will require a tremendous win to stun India A.
The decisive matches will be played on June 17 at Mission Road Ground, Kowloon.
